Mr Syed Muzaffar Ahmad is a consultant general and colorectal surgeon at Scunthorpe hospital and the clinical lead for colorectal cancer services at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust.
He is one of the two endoscopists leading the bowel cancer screening programme on the South Bank.
His main interest is minimal invasive surgery including laparoscoipic and trans anal endoscopic microsurgery. As a general surgeon he deals with patients having herniae and gall bladder conditions.
