Botox, fillers and derma-roller

If you’re worried about fine lines, wrinkles, acne, scars or stretch marks then our aesthetics service can help you achieve the look you desire.

Botox

Botox treatment is used for crows feet, forehead lines and frown lines between the eyes. It is a prescription medicine which is injected into muscles to temporarily improve the look of both moderate to severe crow’s feet lines and frown lines on the forehead and between the eyebrows, making the muscles to smoothen and looks relaxed. Our specialist will discuss your treatment goals prior to treatment in order to determine your requirements. The consultation is free of charge, and treatment can be given after the consultation if you so wish.

The full result will be visible within seven to ten days. The speed of action depends on the strength of the muscles injected and your individual response. Results can last for up to three months.

The treatment process only takes about 10 minutes. Everyone is different and some of our patients tell us that being injected with Botox feels like a pin prick, while others do not really feel any discomfort. However, if you are concerned, our specialist may apply a topical numbing cream before administering the treatment. The treatment requires very little downtime or recovery. The injected areas will be slightly pink which normally settle within 30 minutes, leaving you to go about your normal routine.

Derma-roller

Derma-roller can significantly improve the appearance of acne scars, aged and sun damaged skin, facial and decollete lines and wrinkles and stretch marks.

Dermaroller™ Therapy provides advanced micro-medical skin-needling, a procedure that stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely, creating smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin.

Your practitioner will use a topical anaesthetic to numb the skin making the procedure comfortable; it will normally take up to 30 minutes for the topical anaesthetic to work and 20 – 30 minutes for the Dermaroller™ Therapy procedure.

After a Dermaroller™ Therapy procedure your body will start to naturally regenerate and repair the skin, working below the surface in the dermis. This takes time as new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced. It can take up to six weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen and the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement. Your practitioner will normally recommend that your Dermaroller™ Therapy consists of a series of 2 – 3 Dermaroller™ procedures with approximately 6 weeks between them. In the treatment of acne scars and other types of scarring it may be necessary for your practitioner to extend your Dermaroller™ Therapy.
