Mr Chambers qualified from the Aberdeen University Medical School in 1994 before taking up basic surgical training in Newcastle upon Tyne. He undertook higher surgical training in orthopaedics and trauma on a northern England rotation and completed a fellowship at Toronto University in lower limb joint replacement and trauma in 2006. He joined the trust in 2007.
